UR brand & swimwear - a marca ( sobre nós)
Nascida em 2014 no coração do Porto na (antiga) loja UR, a UR brand & swimwear é uma marca de roupa e biquinis focada na sustentabilidade e na produção consciente. Todas as peças são produzidas localmente de forma ética respeitando as condições de trabalho e utilizando materiais reciclados ou provenientes de excedentes de produção nacional que, de outra forma acabariam num aterro ou destruídos.
Parece muito para uma marca? Pois parece, mas nós conseguimos! Como?
* Todas as peças da marca são desenhadas, modeladas, cortadas e produzidas no nosso atelier no Porto (Portugal) e, quando se justifica, recorremos a pequenas costureiras ou fábricas locais que nos ajudam a alavancar a produção.
*Só produzimos com tecidos reciclados (econyl - de plástico retirado do oceano) e/ou tecidos excedentes de produção nacional (tecidos descartados por outras marcas e produções que, de outra forma terminariam num aterro ou destruídos)
* Desenhamos para o conforto e os nossos biquínis nunca te deixarão apertada ou demarcada. É o teu biquíni que tem que se adaptar a ti, e não tu ao biquíni.
* Quando desenhamos temos sempre presente que os corpos não são todos iguais e variam em volumetria. Assim conseguimos ajustar os moldes a cada tamanho e não produzimos tamanhos maiores ou menores caso o efeito não seja o desejado. Todos os tamanhos devem ter o fit perfeito para nós
* Os biquínis da UR brand & swimwear são sempre vendidos em separado e só compras a peça ou a combinação pela qual te apaixonaste.
* Tens sempre a opção de compra em diferentes tamanhos de top e cueca, precisamente porque sabemos que os tamanhos podem ser variáveis e não queremos que sejas obrigada a ter algo que não necessitas.
* 99,9% dos nossos biquínis são reversíveis para teres a opção de combinar como quiseres e, em cada peça terás sempre 2 cores ou padrão + côr.
* Evitamos o uso de acessórios como fechos, colchetes, enfeites porque, para além de aumentarem o valor final, se se estragarem podemos não conseguir substituir e, desta forma, também conseguimos que cada peça de biquíni não se limite a servir a um tamanho fixo. Pois, os nossos modelos servem a intervalos de tamanhos, ou seja 2 tamanhos diferentes moldando-se .

E... porque a UR é uma loja, não temos só as peças que produzimos mas procuramos ter peças que, apesar de não serem produzidas por nós como os óculos de sol, os acessórios e algumas roupas, têm uma boa relação qualidade - preço e seria uma falha nossa não haverem por cá.

EN - UR brand & swimwear the label
Born in 2014 the heart of Porto ( Portugal), UR brand is a clothing and swimwear brand focused on sustainability, quality vs quantity, consious production and consuption, confort and style.
It look a lot for a small brand ? Yes it is but we handle it! How?
* Let´s start with our ethical work. All UR brand items are designed, patterned, cut and handmade in our atelier in Porto but, if we neeed a boot on the prduction, we get help from local seamstresses or small factories.
*How about our sourcing of materials? We only wear recycled lycra ( econyl- made from recycled bottles from the ocean) and/ or surplus fabric from local productions ( waste fabric from other brands/ productions that, in other way would end up on a landfill or shredded )
* We design for comfort so our swimwear will never squeeze you or be loose. You bikini must merge with your body, not the opposite.
* We know that everybody is different so, when we design we also have in mind the volumetry and shape, not only the size and if a model won´t fit propperly in one or more especific sizes, we will not make it only beacuse we need too show more sizes. Only perfect patterns with perfect fit are produced.
* All bikinis are sold separately (top and bottom) so you´ll buy only the one you fall in love with or the set that you preffer.
* We know that sizes may vary even on the same body so at UR you can also purchase one size for the top and another for the bottom and you will never again need a friend to buy with you and share sizes or buy one size you will not wear.
* 9.99% of our swimwear is reversible and many are wearable in more than one way. This way you´ll always have 2 colours or a colour x print to mix match and 1 item will actually be 2 . Your wallet will appreciate that
* We avoid the use of closures and accessories. If one closure gets damaged it may be impossible for us to fix it or change it, and the same with accessories and bling-blings and beyond that, it will increase the price tag. By avoiding that, we came up with a design that one size will fit actually 2 sizes perfectly.

* We offer 2 years guaranty*! lLet us know if you find any problem with your item and we´ll help and repair it or even exchange it if needed.
* the guaranty excudes items that were not properly taken care and our instructions onn how to wash, clean, storage were not followed
And because UR is a shop, we don´t only have available our brand but also items like sunglasses, accessories and clothing that, although are not handmade by us, have the perfect quality x price x style and we could not miss it.
